  Widely followed crypto trader and analyst Michaël van de Poppe is mapping out the price levels to watch for Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and Cardano (ADA). In a new market update, Van de Poppe  tells  his 127,000 YouTube subscribers that Bitcoin recently reclaimed a key price area, indicating that Bitcoin is gearing up for a fresh rally.  “Yesterday, we’ve had a beautiful retest, so price broke back above the range ($47,000-$50,000), and we’ve actually retested the levels that I wanted ($47,000), and that’s very normal to be having at this stage in which we get some consolidation going on the Bitcoin markets… So for me, this entire region between $46,000-$47,000 is very crucial to watch, through which as long as we stay above it, we could be seeing continuation towards the range highs, which is $50,000, and then I am assuming we are going to get some sideways action, through which altcoins will be doing absolutely great.   The Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Abdulrasheed Bawa, broke down while presenting his brief address and was rushed out of the banquet hall at the presidential villa on Thursday. Bawa was offering his goodwill message at the National Identity Day celebration when he suddenly stopped speaking and asked to be excused. “Please, excuse me, I can’t continue,” he said then walked off the stage before slumping on his chair and was eventually taken out. Air Force denies reported bombardment of Yobe community

  The Nigerian Air Force has countered claim of one of its fighter jets bombing a community in Yobe State.    Residents of Buwari community in Yunusari Local Government Area had claimed that several persons have been killed and others injured in the reported bombardment. A source in the community, Haruna Ali told Channels Television that three Toyota Hilux brought the injured victims to Geidam General Hospital.   However NAF spokesman, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet said the last time they conducted a mission in Yobe State was earlier this month and no bomb or missile was even expended.    Gabkwet said;    “NAF last conducted a mission into Yobe State (Not Yunusari LGA) on 5 September 2021 and it was an armed recce. “No bomb or missile was even expended”.

The Nigerian Naira hit a new time low on Wednesday September 15, as it is now exchanging between N562 and N570 for 1$ in parallel markets.    Though data recorded on the FMDQ securities exchange window where forex is officially traded, showed that the naira closed at N412.06 per $1 at the official window on Wednesday September 15, the same rate it exchanged on Tuesday September 14, walk-in customers exchanged between N562 to N567 for $1. Similarly, checks in Kano, Kaduna and Lagos showed that the prices fluctuated between N564 and N570/1$. Some BDCs confirmed huge demand for forex at the moment with some of the operators disclosing that most of the demands were from SMEs that were having difficulty accessing forex from banks.   The forex turnover remained unchanged with $175.10 million recorded at the spot market, the same rate posted in the previous session on Tuesday.   The domestic unit hit an intraday high of N400.00 and a low of N414.90 at the trading session before closing at N41

Just weeks earlier, the rapper hinted at being unfaithful to Kim through lyrics of his new music. National Assembly defends Buhari’s $4.9bn loan plan, APC, PDP clash over debt

The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Senator Ajibola Basiru, who stated this in an interview with one of our correspondents in Abuja, said there was no country that does not engage in deficit financing. Basiru said this as the Director General of the Debt Management Office, Patience Oniha, while giving a  breakdown of the public debt stock for the second quarter of 2021 during a virtual media presentation on Wednesday, said Nigeria’s total public debt stock rose from N33.11tn as of March 31, 2021 to N35.47tn as of June 30, 2021.
